About Us

“Although the collegiate chapters are the life-blood of Tri Delta, the strength of Tri Delta lies in the great circle of our alumnae who can be our continuity, stability, and support.”   -Circle Degree

Upcoming Events

 September 28th

Join a team and join the fun while supporting St. Jude.

Not up for a Walk/run? Then just make a donation. The donations all go to help the families of children fighting cancer.

When a child is treated at St. Jude, families never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all they should worry about is helping their child live.

Support St. Jude by registering for Katherine Scully's Team or the LSU Tri Delta Team.

Elizabeth Scully, Delta Omega 1987 has organized

Katherine Scully's Team. Elizabeth's daughter, Kathrine underwent treatment last year at St. Jude and is celebrating being Cancer Free! Click this Link to register for Katherine Scully's Team.

The Delta Omega, collegiate chapter has set up an LSU Tri Delta Team

for the St. Jude Walk/Run. Alums are welcome to join the collegiate members for the walk/run.

FAQ About Recruitment

Q: Can Alums be at the Tri Delta House for the Recruitment Parties?

A: Yes. Alums are welcome to the Tri Delta House. We feel it is important to show that Tri Delta is a  lifetime membership. Alums may be present for parties to help prepare between parties, maybe placing napkins and drinks out, helping to refresh the house, or working in the kitchen.  A SignUp Genius will be sent to the Alumnae Chapter.

If alums are visible during parties they are absolutely NOT allowed to speak to, touch or approach Potential Members. Cell phones must be on silent and put away.

Alums are directed to only “Smile & Wave.”

Panhellenic Recruitment Rules are very serious resulting in extensive fines.

Parking and Shuttle information for recruitment will be shared when finalized.

Q: Who does Tri Delta consider a legacy?

A: Daughters, sisters, step daughters and step sisters of initiated Tri Delta members. Granddaughters while technically not a legacy, are recognized as a strong tie to Tri Delta.

Q: What are the policies of legacies being released during recruitment?

A: Being a legacy does not guarantee membership in any way. As much as we would like each chapter to consider a legacy carefully, we have no control over the collegiate chapters and their policies regarding legacies. Each chapter is different, as is their policy regarding legacies.

Q: Can Alums send special treats during workshop?

A: Yes. Tri Delta members are working long, hard hours during Workshop (Aug 11th-17th) to prepare for a great Recruitment. They LOVE to get special treats delivered.
